  • 1. Dim the lights & shift the mood: As the sun sets, try dimming the lights in your space to signal to your body that it's time to wind down. Light a candle, turn on a salt lamp, or simply rely on soft lamp lighting. Reducing bright stimulation helps the nervous system transition from go-go-go to slow.
  • 2. Swap scrolling for stillness: Rather than getting lost in your phone before bed (we’ve all been there), try switching out your screen for something more soothing. This could be a few pages of a book, a gentle meditation, or even lying still and tuning in to your breath. Give yourself permission to not be productive.
